These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Snipify (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
• You must provide a valid email address and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree that you will not create, shorten, store, or distribute links that:

• point to content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful;
• distribute malware, viruses, or other malicious code;
• facilitate phishing, fraud, scams, or other deceptive practices;
• contain or link to child sexual abuse material or other prohibited content;
• are used to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
• violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of others;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.

4. Links and content

You retain responsibility for the destination URLs you shorten. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to disable, remove, or refuse any short link that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law, with or without notice.

5. Service availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to keep the Service running reliably, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that links will remain available indefinitely. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time.

6. Account deactivation and termination

You may deactivate your account at any time from your account settings. Deactivation revokes your access and cannot be undone. We may also suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. Links you previously created may continue to function after deactivation so that they do not break for people who already hold them.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the Service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Open source software

Snipify is open source. The source code is available on GitHub and is provided under its accompanying licence. These Terms govern your use of this hosted instance of the Service and are separate from the licence that governs the source code itself.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we handle your data.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
